Polish citizenship – how to obtain it?

Obtainment of the Polish citizenship follows on a submitting of application of the person of interest. A correctly completed application has to be submitted to the Province Governor’s Office – appropriate due to actual place of your residence. The decision on crediting you with the Polish citizenship is made by the Province Governor, who you submitted your application to.

Remember that in order to be credited with the Polish citizenship, you have to know the Polish language, and it has to be confirmed with a certificate of the language competence (issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language) or a certificate of completing a school in Poland or a school in other country with the language of instructions being Polish.
